ShareInTech Partners With UrsaLeo and Connect Up Technologies to Deliver Project Optimization and Workforce Safety Technology to the Construction Industry
Ray Volpatt, CEO of ShareInTech and President of Volpatt Construction to discuss case study results at The Association of Union Contractors Industrial Grade Innovation Conference
Pittsburgh, PA — August 17th, 2021 — ShareInTech (www.getshareintech.com), a workforce safety and optimization, building management, and asset supervision technology company, today announced key partnerships with UrsaLeo and Connect Up Technologies. UrsaLeo is an immersive 3D platform that combines digital twin technology with realtime and historical data from IoT streams, ERP, maintenance, and other enterprise systems. Connect Up Technologies is a wearables safety technology company. Their connected workforce solution focuses on employees’ safety, health and performance using the latest advancements in data collection and embedded artificial intelligence.
Ray Volpatt, CEO of ShareInTech and President of Volpatt Construction will be discussing case study results from the company’s first pilot test. He will be available along with his colleagues at the The Association of Union Contractors Industrial Grade Innovation Conference taking place in St. Louis from August 17th to the 19th. ShareInTech, UrsaLeo, and Connect Up Technologies will have case study details and demos available at booth 25 during the event.
“The construction industry is ripe for innovation. From project optimization and workforce safety initiatives to ongoing building management, the solutions from UrsaLeo and Connect Up are some of the most innovative platforms available to the construction industry,” said Ray. “Beyond making job sites and overall projects more efficient and safe, we’ve already proven cost savings for workers’ compensation insurance. Our most recent renewal included a 20% discounted rate and we believe these savings will extend across other areas of our business.”
“We see construction as an important marketplace for the adoption of these technologies. Beyond the project, contractors can sell an ongoing building information management solution using the 3D digital twin to owners. This helps to further extend a relationship that often ends once a project is complete,” said John Burton, CEO of UrsaLeo.
“Beyond OSHA compliance, safety is one of the top priorities on any jobsite,” said Ogi Grba, CEO of Connect Up Technologies. “Our technology is AI-powered and can detect slips, trips, and falls as they happen. It is also paired with a powerful back-end reporting system that operates in real-time and alerts key personnel when incidents happen. The devices can also be attached to pieces of equipment for tracking, inventory purposes, and more.”
Volpatt Construction will integrate a combined UrsaLeo/Connect Up solution for a renovation at a regional hospital in Western Pennsylvania. The 3D model and accompanying dashboard will be used for remote collaboration with owners, architects, and subcontractors. Sensors will be installed on the jobsite with sensor data delivered to the 3D model for remote visibility into the environmental conditions on the project. Connect Up’s wearable devices will also send data to the model to ensure ongoing personnel safety.
